What is the difference between combinations and permutations?
Combinations count selections where order does not matter (choosing 3 from 10). Permutations count arrangements where order matters (ranking 3 from 10). Permutations are always greater than or equal to combinations.
What is a complement in probability?
The complement of an event is the probability that the event does not occur. If the probability of rain is 0.3, the complement (no rain) is 1 - 0.3 = 0.7.
